Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website. Here's what we're doing about it, and how to tell us if something isn't working for you.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This means we work to ensure the site is perceivable, operable, understandable and robust — for people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control or zoomed displays.
What we've built in
- Semantic HTML with headings, landmarks and labelled form fields;
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators;
- Sufficient colour contrast and text that resizes without loss of content;
- Descriptive alternative text for property photography;
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences — animations are disabled when your system asks for that;
- Accessible gallery, accordion and menu controls with ARIA states.
Known limitations
Some third-party embeds (for example map providers) are controlled by those providers and may not meet the same standard as the rest of the site. We load them lazily and only where they add value. If you hit a barrier we haven't listed, please tell us.
Feedback and contact
If you find any accessibility barrier on this site, contact us at hello@betaplanner.co.uk or call 020 7946 0958. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two working days and to resolve or provide a workaround as quickly as we can.
Formal complaints
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can escalate your complaint to the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), or to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) if the issue relates to discrimination.
